Murter
Murter is the biggest and the oldest town on the island Murter, which is bridged with a mainland in a place called Tisno. It is situated 35 kilometers west from Šibenik. It is often referred to as the "capital" of Kornati, since its residents own almost all of the Kornati and the neighbouring islands.

Betina
Thanks to its location and well- kept architecture, Betina is considered to be one of the most beautiful places on the Adriatic. The central historical part of Betina was built on the eastern slopes of Cape Artić, located on the northern gate to the Murter passage.

Tisno
Tisno developed in the place where the island almost reaches land and was therefore named after this narrow strait (6 m). It is situated 28 km west of Šibenik. The centre of the old part is located on the island, south-east from the bascule bridge.

Jezera
Jezera is a place on a southeast side of Murter, the island which is bridged to the mainland. It is situated 28 kilometers west of Šibenik. Jezera today still looks like a typical Dalmatian fishing village.
It was probably due to mean soil that Jezera became one of the largest fishing centres in Central Dalmatia. In case you would like to have fresh fish, you can buy it directly from the fishermen at dusk. more...
Kornati
Kornati is the densiest archipelago on the entire Mediterrenian sea, situated in the middle part of Croatian Adriatic. Aechipelago is divided into two groups of islands: Lower Kornati and Upper Kornati. Out of 152 islands, 89 have been, because of their exceptional beauty, indentedness and rich sea flora and fauna, pronounced National park in year 1890.
The name Kornati most probably originates from the cliffs of the islands, that look on an open sea, which are also called crowns (corona-kornati). more...
