Basic information about Zaton

Zaton is situated only few kilometers west of Šibenik, inside the Šibenik channel. It is placed in a beautiful bay, protected from three sides. Šibenik bridge provides a beautiful view on the bay and part of Zaton. Zaton is founded in 15th century. Sorounded by hills, made of old stone houses, it is situated on an edge of a bay next to the channel which connects Prukljan lake to Šibenik bay.

Due to its good position the guests can search for entertainment, events and other facilities in nearby Vodice and Šibenik. The nearness of Prukljan lake and National park Krka makes Zaton an ideal place for sightseeing tourism.
