Basic information about Grebaštica

Picturesque settlement, 15 kilometers south of Šibenik is situated along Adriatic coastal road, in the bay Oštrice. It is mentioned in 13th century as Grebac. On that area a long time ago used to be a settlement, grounded by Romans, and the remains of buildings as well as a stone grave lid found on a graveyard next to the church of St Mary and Peter are the best proof of its existance. Near peninsula Oštrice the remains of St Spirit chappel from 17th century are found.
